2 | Open the engine compartment | Access to perform the maintenance and repairs varies according to the bodywork type/manufacturer of the bodywork. | |
3 | Remove the drain plug (5) and drain the oil from the engine | Dispose of used engine oil in a proper, environmentally sound way. | |
Only drain the engine oil with heated engine at the work temperature. | |||
4 | Screw and tighten the drain plug (5) | Replace the draining plug sealing ring (5). | |

Necessarily observe the tightening torque of the drain plug (5) without bayonet coupling | |||

5 | Replace oil filter element (3) | ||
Refill | |||
6 | Remove the cover of the oil filling neck (1) | Before removing, clean the surroundings of the oil filling neck (1). Otherwise, dirt can enter into the engine and cause damages. | |
7 | Fill the oil sump through the filling neck (1) up to the oil reaches the maximum level of the dipstick (2) | Engine oil | |
8 | Cover the oil filling neck with the closing cover (1) | ||
9 | Starting the engine | Do not accelerate the engine until oil pressure is shown on the indicator. The pressure must be reestablished in approximately 10 seconds. | |
10 | Check oil level on display | Check oil level on display after a waiting time of approx. 5 minutes. | |
If there is need to refill the engine with oil: | |||

Remove the closing cover (1) and refill the engine with oil through the filling neck. | |||
11 | Close the engine compartment |
