1 Open last maintenance flap at left rear

2 Remove lower radiator trim.

3 Loosen clamps (2) at charge air cooler (1).

4 Unscrew screws (arrows) and swivel strut (3) to the outside.

5 Unscrew screws (4) and swivel charge air cooler (1) in maintenance position toward top.

Because of risk of cracks and fracture due to stiffness, carefully swivel charge air cooler toward top, if necessary carry out small movements several times.

6 In upper position, insert support (5).

7 Swivel back in reverse order.
