Remove

Unlatch the securing clips (arrow), and remove the cover (1) of the air filter

 Access to carry out of the maintenance and repair works differs according to the body type/manufacturer
Refer to the body makers instructions.

 Clean up the air filter outside.

Remove the filtering element (2)

 Filtering element cleaning is not recommended.

 When using security filter element (optional), it should be replaced every three main element replacements or after, maximum, two years of use.



Install

Install a new filter element (2)

 For more security, mark the replacement date on top of the element and make a note on the maintenance manual.
Install filter element observing the perfect seating on sealing surface.

Install the cover (1) of the air filter

 Check the tension of the catches (arrow).
When installing the cover, observe the fitting of the air filter.

Air filter with maintenance indicator: reset the position of operating condition
