Removing

Remove gear control (GS) shift control unit (A15)

Remove dash support switch module 2 (A76)

 Do not detach connector from dash support switch module 2 (A76).

Remove cover (1) from dash support switch module 2 (A76)



Install

Install power mode/eco-roll button (S194) into free slot

Install dash support switch module 2 (A76)

Install new gear control (GS) shift control unit (A15)

Parameterize

Connect Star Diagnosis

 To adapt the parameters, the Star Diagnosis DAS update 06/2009 or later must be installed.

Switch on ignition

Start Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS)

Select "Truck" menu

Select "Automatic model series entry with quick test" menu and confirm with "F2" button

Select "Modular switch panel"

Select "Control unit adaptations"

In the "Parameterization" menu select the "Specified dash support configuration"

Parameterize the "Power / Eco change-over" button to "available"

Press "F1" button to exit the menu.

Save changes in "ZDS central data memory"

Press the "F1" button several times to return to the "Current quick test" menu

Select "FR drive control" menu

Select "Control unit adaptations"

Select "Parameterization"

Select "Parameter group for Mercedes PowerShift transmission 2"

Deactivate "Fleet mode" and confirm with "F3"

Press "F1" button to exit the menu.

Save changes in "ZDS central data memory"

Press the "F1" button several times to return to the "Current quick test" menu

Delete fault memory with "F9" button

Run a quick test with the "F5" button and delete the fault memory

 If current faults are present, process them and delete the fault memory again.
