Retrofitting additional cooler in wheelhousing

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Attach radiator support (1).

Tighten screws/bolts (2)   .

Tighten nut (3)   .

Fasten electrical wiring harness to the radiator support (1) (arrow).

Clip air inlet (4.1) into the covering between fan and engine (4.2) (arrows A).

Clip additional cooler (4.3) into covering between fan and engine (4.2) (arrows B).

Tighten top decoupling element (5) on the crossmember.

Insert additional cooler model (4) with bottom elastomer bearings (6) into the radiator support (1) and, at the top, bring forward into the true vertical position.

Tighten nut (7).

Hook air outlet (4.4) at the top into the additional cooler (4.3) (arrows A).

Clip air outlet (4.4) into the covering between fan and engine (4.2).

Connect coolant hose (8) to the additional cooler (4.3).

Clip coolant hose (8) into the air inlet (4.1).

Route coolant hose (8) downward and clip into the radiator support (1) (arrow).

 The coolant hose (8) will be connected to the coolant circuit at a later stage.
