Function

Erase fault memory with HHT.

Heater unit: ON

Read out fault code.

Heater unit: OFF

If fault code no longer appears:

Inspect plug connections and surroundings for moisture.

If fault code re-appears:

Inspect plug connections and surroundings for moisture.

If no fault can be determined, replace control unit (Z14) on trial.

Carry out measurement at plug housing.

Value < 2 Ω:

Replace flame monitor complete with plug connection X8 and supply cable.

Value > 30 kΩ:

Replace cable harness to heater unit complete with molded connection plug.

Carry out measurement at plug sleeve housing E.

Value > 30 kΩ:

Cable ( ) in cable harness from air recirculation box to electrical compartment. (FF8).

Value < 2 Ω:

Cable ( ) in cable harness to control unit. In area from electrical compartment to control unit, fit new cable if necessary (use 1 mm2, yellow/green).
