Preparations for function check of heater booster

Model 210 as of 01.09.96 and models 168, 202

Model 210 from 01.09.96 to 28.02.97:

1 Remove coupling from air temperature switch (S25/18).

2 Bridge coupling.

Model 210 as of 01.03.97 and models 168, 202:

1.1 On models 202 and 210 unclip outside temperature sensor on left of bumper grille and disconnect coupling.

1.2 On model 168 unclip outside temperature sensor behind cover of front towing eye and disconnect coupling.

2 Connect ohm decade to the temperature sensor coupling using the electrical connection set.

3 Adjust ohm decade to a resistance value of 9800 Ω.

 The adjusted resistance value corresponds to an outside temperature of approx. 0°C.
