Electric suction fan, actuation | ||
| Fault code ( Display on generic scan tool) | P2073 (-) |
B | Engine 112, 113 as of 1/01 Fault code ( Display on generic scan tool) | P2073-[1] Short circuit to positive (-) P2073-[2] Short circuit to ground(-) P2073-[4] Interruption (-) |
| Fault storage Activation of the engine diagnosis indicator lamp (EURO3/4) or CHECK ENGINE (MIL) malfunction indicator lamp | After expiry of test duration and fault No activation |
| Checking frequency | Continuous |
| Checked signal or status | PWM signal actuation and voltage supply for electric suction fan. |
| Fault setting conditions Short circuit to positive Short circuit to ground Interruption |
Fault if the duty cycle is greater than 90 %. Fault if the duty cycle is lower than 10 %. PWM signal actuation missing. Voltage supply (circuit 30) to electric suction fan interrupted. |
| Check prerequisites | Battery voltage between 8 and 17 V |
| | In the event of a fault, the output stage is locked or switched for further troubleshooting. A short circuit to ground and a line interruption will be detected when the output stages are locked, whilst a short-circuit to positive is detected when the output stages are conducting. - In the event of a fault in the actuation signal of the electrical suction fan, the fan is automatically switched to maximum speed. The suction fan is actuated via the suction fan control unit or via integrated control at the suction fan. Pay attention to the variant coding of the AAC or comfort AAC control and operating units. |
