Call up and note fault codes from the fault memory.

Determine particular subassembly/subassemblies by means of the fault code, refer to "Diagnosis fault memory" of corresponding electronics.
Check condition of electrical components, cables, connections, connectors and fuses for condition, correct connection, corrosion, loose contact etc. and replace if necessary.

Fault without fault code present?

Check fuses in accordance with wiring diagram, replace defective fuses.
Rectify fault, refer to "Diagnosis troubleshooting" of corresponding electronics.
Erase fault memory.
Carry out function check of corresponding electronics, read out measured/binary values if necessary .
